Registry Cleaner Review

Registry errors are the bane of many computer users and most of them do not even realize it. A poorly cared for registry can slow down the performance of your computer to a snails pace and also cause errors that throw up exceptions to you which are frustrating and hard to pin down as to the cause leading to a trip to the computer store for many. The thing is the guy at the computer store charges a fortune to run a single program to fix you computer! There are a wealth of registry cleaners on the net which are sophisticated programs that scan your computer, find and remove these errors and like unblocking a drain your computer starts running better than you can ever remember!

There are so many of these products I thought I would list a few good ones with some suggestions of which is best for you and your PC.

Registry Fix - Registry fix is a highly recommended tool that does exactly what it says and fixes your registry allowing all computer operations to speed up. It is a free download which allows you to scan your PC to see how many errors you have. To fix them you must purchase the full program which is $37 for a single computer and more if you buy it for more machines if you own a business. The free scan is very useful to see just how messy your computer is and this program has been around for some time.

Error Smart - Error Smart does everything that Registry Fix does and certainly looks prettier! But that aside this is a newer program and well designed. It is also cheaper at $19.95 for a single computer (again, more for multiple computers) and they have some nice protection tools you can buy very cheap with your purchase of the registry cleaner also which are designed to protect and not slow down your PC like some other anti-virus programs; It is also Vista Certified.

Pareto Logic - Pareto Logic is a decent sized company that provides a heck of a lot more than just registry cleaners as you can see on their homepage (the registry cleaner is called RegCure and is near the bottom of the page) again it offers a free scan and what I kind of like is they have a "buy product" link on the front page where the others feel they have to hide the fact they are going to charge you which annoys me as there are no good free reg cleaners out there anyway! The price for this one is $29.95 for a single computer and from my research is the most popular registry cleaner on the net with a decent price with a good product and very little BS.

There are more out there but these three stand out for me from the crowd. Take a scan with one of them it is amazing how many errors you can accumulate!
